Egbon Connect (egbonconnect.com.ng) helps you size solar for your home and connects you to a trusted installer. This page explains what we keep.

What we keep

  • The setup you chose in the calculator, and your WhatsApp number and name if you chat with us.
  • Your area, monthly fuel spend, budget and timeline, if you answer those questions on WhatsApp.
  • Details an installer sends us, such as the job value when a job is done.

Who sees it

When you ask for an installer, we share your name, WhatsApp number, area and setup with that one installer so they can contact you. Other installers do not see your details.

WhatsApp

The Egbon bot runs on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta. Messages you send to the bot pass through WhatsApp under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. We only receive the messages you send to the Egbon number.

Chats you forward to the bot

If you forward a chat with a customer to the Egbon WhatsApp bot to get a quote or an invoice, the text is sent to Google’s Gemini AI service, which reads it and picks out the structured details, such as the items, quantities, prices and the customer’s name. We keep those structured details so you can edit the document or turn a quote into an invoice. We do not store the chat text itself. The PDF is sent to you on WhatsApp and we do not keep a copy.

Where it is kept

What we keep is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the Egbon service. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

The free quote and invoice makers

On the website, your business details and documents stay in your own browser. Egbon only counts that a tool was used, with no personal details.

Payments

Customers never pay Egbon. Installers pay Egbon a fee on completed jobs.

Your choices

To see or delete what we keep about you, message us on WhatsApp and ask. You can also stop at any time by not replying, and we will not message you first unless you asked for an installer or a check-in.
